challenges

why is it that i need a challenge to get me to use my scrapbooking stash? there were a few challenges over at studio calico last week that really helped me to use all of the kits that i have been hoarding. i love a fun challenge.

this one was for a grey background challenge. i didn't think that i would like it, but i actually kind of do. i might be using grey a lot more now.

this was for a kit packaging challenge. i used a coupon under the title.

this one was for a challenge that required us to use 3 different items from 3 different kits.

this was a scraplift challenge. i lifted one of Mia C' s pages. this is my girls with their grandpa (my FIL). and no, my nephew isn't picking his nose, it just looks that way. he just wouldn't sit still for the picture.

i love how colorful the little red scrapbook january kit is. i was so surprised at how quickly my work came together with this kit and the fun add ons.

it's peek time

little red scrapbook's january kit features the fun american crafts teen line. don't let the name fool you because i only have one teen and i was able to use this with all of my kids. i even did a layout about about me. i had so much fun with this kit.

unbelievable!

i just found out that i was chosen to be a guest designer for pink paislee this year. how fabulous is that? it's no secret how much i love that manufacturer and the owner rebecca is just one of the nicest people in the business. i am just so honored and grateful! and a huge congrats to the new team and the other guest designers, too.

it's hard to believe that another year has flown by. i can't wait to see what 2009 brings. it was a difficult choice but i think these are my top 8 (in no particular order) creations from 2008.
