challenges

why is it that i need a challenge to get me to use my scrapbooking stash? there were a few challenges over at studio calico last week that really helped me to use all of the kits that i have been hoarding. i love a fun challenge.

this one was for a grey background challenge. i didn't think that i would like it, but i actually kind of do. i might be using grey a lot more now.

this was for a kit packaging challenge. i used a coupon under the title.

this one was for a challenge that required us to use 3 different items from 3 different kits.

this was a scraplift challenge. i lifted one of Mia C' s pages. this is my girls with their grandpa (my FIL). and no, my nephew isn't picking his nose, it just looks that way. he just wouldn't sit still for the picture.

new sketch and a new scheme

my first sketch was posted yesterday, yay!!

and there is a new scheme up with a great prize. you don't want to miss your chance to win such an awesome prize.

new layouts

just posting some new layouts. i did this one for the design experiment blog challenge.

and this one is just for fun.

new upsy daisy designs

oh how i love their new lines. here are a few creations i made with them . there is a giveaway on their blog so check it out. and if you're going to cha be sure visit their booth #4045 so you can see this stuff up close and personal.

i'm getting sketchy

i got some exciting new the other day. i made the sketch this blog team. i can't wait to get started! this will be a great way to use up my stash and create some fun pages. thanks, janelle!!

all the pretty colors

i love how colorful the little red scrapbook january kit is. i was so surprised at how quickly my work came together with this kit and the fun add ons.

dream street

i love this time of year when the CHA peeks start. the dream street designers have outdone themselves this season. i can't wait to get my hands on these papers and the new rub ons. be sure to check back everyday for a new peek. http://dreamstreetpapers.blogspot.com/

it's peek time

little red scrapbook's january kit features the fun american crafts teen line. don't let the name fool you because i only have one teen and i was able to use this with all of my kids. i even did a layout about about me. i had so much fun with this kit.

unbelievable!

i just found out that i was chosen to be a guest designer for pink paislee this year. how fabulous is that? it's no secret how much i love that manufacturer and the owner rebecca is just one of the nicest people in the business. i am just so honored and grateful! and a huge congrats to the new team and the other guest designers, too.

top 8 from 2008

it's hard to believe that another year has flown by. i can't wait to see what 2009 brings. it was a difficult choice but i think these are my top 8 (in no particular order) creations from 2008.

you can see the rest of this album here

more christmas layouts

i'm not a chronological scrapper, but i really got into scrapping my recent christmas pics this year. i still have a few more to scrap, but i'm almost done. i think having some beautiful papers to work with helped a lot.

so thrilled!

i was so surprised (and excited) to receive an email asking if i would like to be studio calico's member spotlight this month. if you received their newsletter, you would have seen this layout of my sweet girl using their december kit.

the reveal

here are my LRS designs for december. you can see the rest of the dt's work here. this was such a fun and versatile kit.
